realizing that you really need pants for war and go excavating in the attic for suitable fabric and realize that the stuff you are pulling out of a tote is not uncut fabric but mostly sewing pairs of pants. Most of what I found just needs a waistband of some kind and a finish at the hems.

Also found two tunic dresses that were cut out. SCORE!

I think I have finished cutting out everything. While I would like another great coat, I will cope.

Projects are now staged in piles on the dining room table by article of clothing (Pants pile, dress pile, shirt pile, etc).

This way now all I have to do is take a pile and start sewing. This will commence tomorrow.

So while I'm miffed that I can't find much of my garb from last year, that's ok. Between what I have found and what it slated to be made, I won't go nekkid. And this relieves a great deal for me.

Though, to be honest, I really hope it is not a HOT war. I can deal with warm, hot even, just not HOT. If it is HOT, I might not be as proper as I should be, but oh well.

Dur predicted HOT and dry, but I've been watching NOAA for Slippery Rock, and it's been mid (sometimes upper, sometimes lower) 80s and 50s at night.
50s means I'll sleep well and 80s are do-able. The 90s is too much.
