Russian great coat done save for hand sewing of collar, cuffs and adding closures. Closures will have to wait until war when I can buy some frogs. I'm actually pleased with how it came out. I was concerned with the design of the fabric. It is much more Muscovite rather than Ukrainian but oh well. The fabric was $2/yd and is a period pattern, even if it looks like something that should be on my grandmother's couch (which is actually one of the ways they say to look for russian brocade patterns "would grandma have this on her couch?")
Tonight I am going to relax and hand stitch the waist band of my gold skirt.
While I feel behind I know I'm not. So it's all good.
