I'm a bad mommy

baronessekatI should know better. It's not like Alex hasn't been my cat for what... 8 years now?
Anyway, either yesterday or the day before (can't remember which) I saw the linen closet in the guest bathroom was open. Not thinking I closed it.
Didn't check, nope. Not like I have a cat that hides in closets.
I opened the closet this evening to fetch a towel to pack for Pennsic and my Miss Alex burst out all traumatized.
And because she hides I didn't think twice about not seeing her for meal time last night or this morning.
Lots of food has been put out, and everything on the shelf that she claimed for her imprisonment is destined for the laundry.
My poor poor girl.
Bad bad bad mommy.
