Now I feel stupid

I finally figured out what had been triggering my allergies and causing the breathing issues.

I finished off the bottle of Fresca that I had bought for the Duchezz this weekend.

It was only after it was gone and I had consumed it all that I saw something in the ingredient list.

1. Asparthame
2. Vegetable Oil (Aka soybean oil)

So the stupid soda has my two biggest food allergies in it. I could probably have been able to do one or the other but this stuff had both.

yeah well. I've never had issues before with Fresca that I've noticed. And who puts vegetable oil in soda anyway?

I am good about checking new things, but the odd recipe change has caught me scrambling for the benadryl, like when my old favorite granola bars started using walnut flour in EVERYTHING.

I don't have issues with vegetable oil, but certainly most artificial sweeteners make me seriously ill. It's amazing how hard it is to find gum without any artificial sweeteners in it.
