It helps to have friends

So my boss has known for at least a week that he was going to Toronto today to have a 5pm "coffee" meeting with someone up there.

At 4:40 he calls me from just outside Toronto and asked me to find him some coffee and dessert place he could take this guy and then text him the address for his GPS unit.

Thank the powers that I actually know people in Toronto. People who do coffee and dessert.

So thank you damedini for your help when you got a frantic cell phone call (TK gave me your number BTW) asking for help.

My boss has many good skills. Pre-planning is not one of them.
