baronessekatHad a lovely weekend. went and spent time with family just being family. Got stuff done around the house, had happy food times, played Wii, wrangled puppies, watched birds and just had family time.
I think I'm yet again going to try the November writing thing. I've managed to get both Mom's and my sister's old laptops not only found but plugged in and working so I can have one to do the writing on.
I think I'm going to pull out and dust off "The First Trumpet" (http://viridiarpg.com/ekat/misc/trumpet.html)
Originally I thought to work on "Yours Truly" (http://viridiarpg.com/ekat/highlander/yours.html) or "Vampire Hunter, T" (http://viridiarpg.com/ekat/anita/vampire.html). But while I'd love to someday get back to work on "Yours Truly" I do not think I can be in the right mindset just yet for it. and VHT is a sequel to an Anita Blake Fanfic I wrote ages ago (The Mirror's Reflection http://viridiarpg.com/ekat/anita/mirror.html) and while I would love to revisit my main character, I've been disenfranchised by Laurel's work of late.
So, instead I will break out The First Trumpet and try.
I think I'm only going to set a goal of 5,000 words for the month. Even that I think is going to be hard to get but it's a goal.
But, for now I'm going to snuggle my four footed babies and relax and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
