Sis and I had a nice quiet Thanksgiving. Edible food (though I'm still working on getting timing right so everything is done at the same time but it was all good and tasty)

We watched movies: Star Trek Nemisis and Hogfather. We then looked through the circulars for Black Friday and had a plan of attack.

Friday saw us up and out but not rushing. See, while we do Mall/shopping, we are not the fanatic "must be there when door open", we look to see what we'd like to get, aim to get there before the doorbuster ends and if it's not there when we get there it wasn't meant to be.

We actually got almost everything we were looking for. Sis even managed to get the two things she really wanted to get for the sale price. The joy of asking if they still had an item and found that they did have one left.

Movie was going to see Bolt in 3-D. I enjoyed it again second time around and this time got to see previews (the advanced screenings I go to tend not to have them) and saw the OMG must see movie for spring: "Race to Witch Mountain"!!!!!!!!

We got home and had leftovers and I got to watch the sister try out her new Dance Dance Revolution. Rather funny to watch. And I might just now have to break out the one I bought years ago and never played.

Today we are going to the national zoo to see the animals and then do something called Zoo Lights (http://nationalzoo.si.edu/ActivitiesAndEvents/Celebrations/ZooLights/default.cfm)

Tomorrow Grimmy and I pack up and head home. Sis is going to miss having puppy snuggles. All weekend she and he have been snuggled up with each other and many times have I heard the phrase "I need to do something but I don't want to put the puppy down".

We had a good time at the zoo but a hard time finding how to get to the panda's lol : ) It was hot and we did see them but didn't see them all. Next time : ) I really liked DC. Have a good time and a safe trip home.
