I actually return to work tomorrow.

It may only be a half day, but it's still a step to returning to "normalcy".

We didn't get much of a chance to talk on Saturday. You have been in my thoughts muchly. It is a difficult thing to describe when someone you have known does something so unthinkable. I lived next door to Arthur Shawcross. I didn't know him well, but when I found out he had been arrested for killing over 20 women... it's not easy to describe, but I know something of what you are going through. Except I didn't know any of the victims. I can't imagine how hard it will be for you tomorrow... but my thoughts are with you.
