Lots of Progress

I think the house is finally ready. All I have to do when I get home is change one cat box, replace a couple piddle pads and empty the dishwasher.
I got up early this morning and did the vacuuming of the family room and the last of the straightening up there.
I did not get the scroll done last night but that's because I got all into cleaning mode. Kitchen is clean - including the floors. Just need to wipe down the counters (which is always part of the reload the dishwasher). Guest bathroom just needs towels laid out now. Front hall has been cleaned and mopped. Hell, I even dusted.
So, the trick now is to not let my apathy and sloth get the better of my before coronation (April 18) when the next round of house guests come. If I stay on top of the main part of the house, the only thing I will really need to clean for then is the Florida room. Which is a pretty big task as it is, but if it's the only thing I have to do, then it's manageable.
So, after work I go shopping for groceries for the weekend, get the last little bit done in the cleaning and then work on the scroll. If the guests do come they won't be getting in until at least 10pm so I have plenty of time for what needs to be done.
I am content.
