The continuing squirrel saga

For the past two summers, I have had an ongoing "battle" with the big squirrel that has adopted my bird feeders as his personal buffet.
He even figured out how to open the cage around the bell-shaped suet and nut things and pull the whole concoction out and run off with it.
This is the squirrel:

but this is how I really see his demonic little self

Well I think the feeder that is currently hanging off of the gutter is proving to be a bit of a challenge to him
Today, I was at the kitchen sink and heard a loud thump against the kitchen window. I look over and see the demon hanging on to the bottom of the window ledge and looking into the kitchen. He sat there for a good 5 minutes, even ignoring the cats who were sitting on the other side of the glass pawing at him against the window. All the while looking up at the feeder and plotting.
So we shall see if he figures out a way to get to it.

I wish they'd make a suet feeder... We finally got one that's got a cage around it, so little birdies can fly in and get the suet, but the squirrel can't reach in far enough. It's fairly amusing to watch the little bastards trying to figure out how to get in, but luckily they haven't. Yet.
