Yes, it's a reel mower. I break mechanized ones.

And to be honest, I really don't need you to instruct me on how to actually mow. I know all about not cutting in the same direction twice in a row. But I can over look that.

but to tell me "For Christ sake get rid of the dandilions" really is - I'm at a loss for words. Im sorry that some of us do not have the time, energy and money to lawn worship like you do. I'm usually just happy to have the time, energy and a good enough breathing day to actually mow the lawn. If the dandilions want to settle in my yard, you are just going to have to cope, or take care of them yourself.

Signed,

Me.

I wonder if it is possible to just have dandelions, and no grass?

My goal is to have a place that doesn't need mowing at all- kitchen & flower garden, zen rock thing, wild flowers, moss, it's all good!

Dandelions and crabgrass stay green all summer long and do not need to be watered like grass does, tell them you are "thinking green" then tell them to sod-off.

I think a nice posy of dandelions, with attached recipes for dandelion greens, dandelion wine, dandelion soup, etc. would be a nice gift for your neighbor!
