Sounds like the right decision. Over the years I've acquired a number of people who do various plumbing, electrical, gas, small engine repair, etc., with whom I've built up a good relationship. I don't mind waiting a few days here and there to fit things into our schedules because I want the work done by someone I can trust to do it right. I also pass their names along to my friends when appropriate -- after all I want them to stay in business.
