Big girl panties

I'm looking at the fact that the holidays are rapidly approaching and the serious cobwebs in my wallet.

So I'm putting on big girl panties and out looking for part time work. I'm not going to look for anything flashy. I right now am just looking for some waitressing or some retail (will not go back to grocery work though hated it). It's too hard to find evening secretarial work to think that direction. Yesterday Dicea and I looked at a couple places on our Sunday shopping trips and I have places now to apply.

Even managed to find my resume on an old email account (which is good as my old computer died and that had the original version on it) so I can brush it off and add Bridges to the list of jobs.

It may or may not pan out, but I won't get anything if I don't apply and try.

Anyone interested in doing a look-over of a resume, just to make sure I'm not doing any glaringly obvious faux pas.

Just don't fall into the same trap a lot of people, especially younger women, find themselves. Don't get a job at a store where you love to shop. You will find yourself spending your paycheck on things for yourself, and then still have an empty wallet when you need money.

oh no, if I did that (like getting a job at Barnes & Noble or Borders) the first spending done at the store would be holiday gifts.
