Patrika got her package today. She says she loves them and the colors were perfect. I'm so glad.





They are "convertible" mittens in that the top is a flap that covers the fingers and underneath are fingerless mitts. I added the button to hold the flap back. The original pattern called for a piece of velcro but I thought the velcro would ruin the yarn rather quickly.
