Gifty thoughts

One of my friends on Facebook asked a question about gifts and it got me thinking. So I ask you a similar one.

If you could have one handmade item made for you for a holiday or birthday, what would it be?

I'm not looking for specific people's gifts for this year but ideas and thoughts for future things.

I would love slipper socks like my mom use to make.But I am not allowed to wear them because I might slip and fall, go boom.

I dunno. I've always loved handmade knitwear.

I have always been partial to bags. Knitted, sewn, leatherworked, embroidered... it doesn't seem to matter. Purse sytle, tote bag, messenger style... I have a collection of bags.

For others I like making ornaments, wreaths, blankets and small knitted things

I would love something warm to curl up under on the sofa. With lots of blinding colors that clash. ;) 'cause it's my house and I can.

you know what i've always thought would be cool?

a song. (or some kind of written verse).

Before I got into Moxy Früvous they had this thing where if you attended X number of concerts and got stamps to prove it they'd write you a song. Just before and after they went on hiatus they started writing them, and some of them even showed up on their last album.

How cool would that be... to be lauded in verse?
