Plans for tonight

Get out of work at normal time. (4:30)

Kill some time before my appointment (only takes 15 minutes to get from work to DDS)

Go to dentist to have the filling that was done last week ground down some to remove the burr on the back of my tooth. (5:30)

Go to the store and get the handful of things I need which include things like dryer sheets to finish laundry I started last night only to discover I was out of needed items.

Finish the crochet item I've been working on non-stop for about two weeks (I have roughly 20 minutes worth of work left. I just could not keep my eyes open last night to finish it)

Somewhere in all that eat dinner.

I know it's not a lot, but it feels like a lot. Have to still pick up the house for sister's arrival. She's currently scheduled to arrive Saturday but complications have arisen and that may change. But I will still do all to have the place ready for her arrival Saturday, and if she's delayed, that just puts me ahead of the game.

It's hard to get motivated for any of it. Despite getting the decorations up and stuff, I just don't feel the Christmas this year.

It may seem silly, but sillyviking and I have argued about forgetting to put in the dryer sheets so many times that I finally bought the new sheets that include the soap AND the dryer stuff all in one. They work like a charm. You put them into the wash, then just throw all of the laundry along with the sheet already used for the wash into the dryer. Just one of those little things that make life easier.

I have been using the bounce bars. It sticks to the inside of the dryer and then I don't need to worry about remembering the sheet. Unfortunately it meant that I didn't see that I was out until after I started the laundry.

It doesn't really feel like Christmas to me this year either...My family can't seem to really get into the spirit as much as usual because well...our dad who was also a son, brother, uncle, grandpa, and beloved husband is missing this year, and well..Christmas was his holiday.
