~The following conversation in the book I'm reading made me giggle while on the Metro this morning:
"I think it'd be embarrassing to be dead in the Hoochie-Coochie River."
"Chattahoochee."
"What's the difference?"
"Quite a bit, I'd think, to Atlantans."
~Off-Duty Officer Patrick of the Buffalo PD escorting me to the Metro this evening as I had to stay late. Nice guy. 2 kids out of the house. 22 years on the force. Owns a Fox Terrier named Snookums "My Daughter named her. Me, I wanted to name her 'That rat thing that you call a dog.'" Has every Monday off from the PD so he picks up some hours being on-call escort for my office. Hates the still trendy fashion of males wearing their pants below the curve of their ass so they need a belt to hold the pants on and they have to walk like they are wearing a pencil skirt. "If you have a belt to hold the pants on there, you have one to hold them up over your hips". (I learned a lot about him in the 7 minutes we waited for the train to arrive.
~Talk with my Boo while she was driving through Connecticut and I was eating dinner.
