Note to self

Must start taking camera out with me when I go out for lunch.

Today was high 50's and all of Buffalo seemed to have converged on the square outside of my office building.

I walked across the street and renewed my library card and checked out 6 audiobooks. One I got just because of Jodi. I found "Sabriel" read by Tim Curry. Also picked up the third in the Wicked Series. The latest Merry Gentry and a coupl that just sounded interesting when I looked at them.

I then walked down the street to get Charlie the Butcher for lunch and saw just a host of interesting people out enjoying the day.

I couldn't help but find myself humming "these are the people in your neighborhood" as I walked back to the office.

Other note to self: get a pair of sneakers to leave in my desk so I can change out of the heels when I want to go wander on my lunch.

That's how I got into the series. I had to review Sabriel in audio. Nice to be thought of.

Good idea! I never wear heels, but I do often find my office is too hot for the shoes I've been wearing to work, so I keep a pair of those little Indian shoes under my desk and change into them. :-)
