baronessekatI woke up early this morning - very awake - mostly because instead of hitting the snooze button when the alarm went off, I hit the radio button and had the radio blare in my ear at 5am.
So I laid in bed snuggling with the dog until I had to get up.
I am feeling better. No where near 100% yet, but better.
Came into work early to learn that the receptionist is now sick. Probably got what I have/had. So I'm up front covering phones all day trying to not fall asleep from the quiet. My usual tasks require me to be at a not so public computer and/or a copier. Not possible when covering the front desk.
Oh well.
I also have "This little light of mine" on loop in my head today.
Plans for tonight include:
1. calligraphing pent scroll that dicea brought over yesterday.
2. Mopping kitchen, hall and bathroom floors.
3. final clean of kitchen.
4. Dinner somewhere in there. Being sick has really curbed my appetite and I find that I have to actually remind myself to eat before 9pm when I'm starting to think of heading to bed.
5. if time and health permit - empty the van and put seats back in so the 5 of us at the Doma can go to the event in one car to cut down on parking issues. (of course I still haven't gotten the tire fixed so I'm on the spare so this may not be the best plan. We shall see).
