I am home from war.

Puppies have been snuggled. Van is almost completely unpacked. Garden checked on.

Unfortunately I think my pumpkin crop may be a loss. See just before I left there were a few leaves with a touch of dust mildew. While Josh and David were good and watered and everything (even got a new hose for me), the mildew has spread and it looks like all leaves are damaged and dying. I do not think the crop can be saved. I will try to hit a garden center tomorrow to ask though.

But the peppers, cukes, eggplants and tomatoes are good. Tomatoes are so heavy they are falling over and creative propping has occured.

I do not have the energy to do a write up on war tonight. Nor scroll through a week's worth of posts. If something happened I should know, please comment here.

Now to find a shower.

You beat me back. I'm in the New Castle Super8. Was thinking of heading back onsite for the Clovenshield party, but will give it a miss this year. Was hearing thunder as I finished packing the car. Last thing I took down was the pop-up shade, and shoved it in. Drove through a t-storm from Coopers Lake to New Castle. There's another one going on now.

This is weird -- I think this is the first War in like 11-12 years that we haven't bumped into each other at least once.
