Once again time to look back at the To-Do list I gave myself for last year, see how I did and set the one for this year.



2011 to dos

Employment - Make it another year at Freed. I like it there. - accomplished

Health/Weight- I would like to get back into doing some kind of exercise at least twice a week. My current plan is my Walk away the pounds DVDs and continue my 1-2 mile walks with Grimm come warm weather. I now own a Wii Fit so that will help. As will getting back into regular Fencing practice. Also several of my co-workers and I are going to do an unofficial support group to help encourage each other. My goal is 20-25 lbs gone. - Not so much. After about March stopped actively trying. Have not stepped on a scale since then, but clothing fits the same. Did see my doctor for a check up at the end of the year and had a pelvic ultrasound to see if we can figure out if I'm just starting that time of my life or if there is something wrong. And had my first mammogram. Ow.

Great Recipe Experiment 2011 - I think I will keep with the goal of 12 new recipes a year. It's realistic. -FAIL. Did not do one new recipe. Collected a bunch that sounded good but didn't try a new one.

Garage- Same as before clean and sort it and be able to park in it easily. I also need to get a new working remote for the garage opener. Cleaning happened, then Pennsic happened. So it doesn't look like anything happened in the garage. Did get a new remote. Still haven't programmed it though

House - on top of the list below, I hope to get FLYlady back into my routine.
1. Wallpaper border in guest bathroom. FAIL
2. Front Hall stripped of Wallpaper and painted. FAIL. But I got all but one of my scrolls hung up there.
3.Victory Garden happened. Got hit with tomato blight, but Grimmy got lots of green beans
4. Fix/repair shed and tear out fence FAIL

Arts and Crafts - keep working on crochet projects. I hope to do one a month. Did not get one a month done. BUT from the first of November to January 1 I crocheted 15 scarves for Christmas/12th Night gifts, so it's kind of a wash.

Frame of mind - I want to get my glad game back. I may have to more that posting to FB as I have access to that at work and that's usually when I think about what was good for the day before. FAIL

But I became the Sylvan Signet of Æthelmearc in January. I've really enjoyed the job and hope that I"ve helped the community some. I did introduce the concept that EVERY kingdom scroll gets a scroll case to take the scroll home in, and have even helped to bring the idea to other kingdoms as well. The upside to the scroll case project is that it has helped me clean out the 5 boxes of ugly 1970's double-knit fabric I found in my basement thanks to my mother.

This year saw ups and downs. I can't say which there were more of so I'm going to call it a neutral year.



2012's To-Do list

2011 to dos

Employment - February will mark my 2nd Anniversary. I'd like to be able to make it to year 3. It's been a while since I've held a job that lasted past year 2. I like it there.

Health/Weight- I would like to get back into doing some kind of exercise at least twice a week. We'll see how that goes. I'd like to try to get my asthma back under control as well. This proves hard as the over the counter meds are no longer available and my prescription inhalors are both tier 2 which can put a crimp in the pocket book.
