my 7 things

Scribes
Some of the greatest most giving people I have ever met. From the first time picking up a pen scribe to the "been a C&I Laurel since AS *mumble*", they give of their time, their skill, their materials to help make the special day of someone they may not even know even more memorable. Most of the scribes I have met I am in complete awe of their skill and can only hope to one day be even remotely as good as them. Since becoming Signet I have had the opportunity to meet many more of them, and I have become fiercely protective of them so that they are not taken advantage of or burned out.
dogs
Even though I have 3 cats, I consider myself a dog person. Always had one while I was growing up. There is something magical about the bond that forms between a dog and its human. I spent 10 years without one and it wasn't until Grimm came into my life that I realized how much I missed having one. Now I can't imagine my life without my little guy. He's been my friend, my companion, the shoulder to cry on, my source of frustration and enjoyment.
housecleaning
The one chore I really really really hate. I think it comes from growing up with a parent who was obsessive to the point of abusive about the condition of my room as a child. Nothing could be out of place. Now, especially because I live alone, I find it hard to get the motivation to do it. I recognize it's a form of rebellion and all. But unless I have a reason to remove the clutter (and that's all it is - clutter) and run a vacuum, it's hard to motivate to do so.

obligation, responsibility, expectation, honor.
spam
Don't like it. Be it the processed meat product or the unwanted email, I do not like. I will not eat it Sam I am, I will not eat your canned and processed icky Spam.
Russia
A interesting and amazing culture. Especially the time periods I'm interested in (the 14th-17th Century). The art alone is amazing. The clothing is beautiful and their ideal female shape is mine. Hard to dislike that.
grill
Something I like to do in the summer. Though I can't until I get a new widget that lets me connect the new propane take to the grill itself. It's healthy and gives great flavor and is by far the best way to cook Salen's hot dogs.
