baronessekatFor those who do not follow me on FB, I now have a vehicle again.
2007 Dodge Grand Caravan. Black, grey interior. Sto and go seating (which is really cool - no more seats taking up space in my garage). Remote starter and side doors. CD and Cassette.
I picked it up on Saturday after driving down to Erie to sell the old van to the Junker place and pay off what I owed to the garage that had done some repairs before I realized it was more to fix than it was to sell.
I"m happy and excited to have a new car. I promise to take better care of this one. I already have the little book for the glove box to track tune ups, oil changes and other services.
Now I can get to the gym on a regular basis without relying on others. I can go to the grocery store without needing a ride from someone.
It was only two weeks from pennsic that I was without a car of my own, but man, did I notice the "I can't just run out and get X".
I don't know how those without a license and car do it. I felt trapped and isolated without a car of my own.
But now I can move forward with my life and go where I want to go, when I want to go.
