I made the effort this year to find out who the MoL was supposed to be and encourage the Autocrat to verify they were going to be there.

They are not. Got the panicked message from said Autocrat this morning.

There are 5 (yes FIVE) tournaments scheduled for the day. I would really like to be able to go to Summer's End and spend time with my friends. The last 3 years I have gotten there and suddenly had to work the list tables. Usually not even remotely close to where my friends are set up and I end up sitting alone all day.

I've put a call out for help this year (since I have warning this time). Hopefully someone will offer to help.

At the very least I want to actually sit near where my friends and family are - if not actually under the pavillion I actually own.

Cuz getting scrolls done and making my house ready for company isn't enough. Now I have to track down tournament information so I have the right forms.

Adrielle, one of our previous Kingdom Seneschals, taught me the *best* response for situations like this (as it was one of her favourite ways of dealing with minions and lower officers who were trying to corner her into doing things she had no desire or intention of doing): Wow, that`s a very interesting challenge you face; I look forward to hearing how you dealt with that.``

If a kingdom Seneschal can do that, I`m pretty sure it will work for Kingdom MoL as well. And *I`d* like to be able to hang with you on a day off, too :)
