I ran out of my usual instant oatmeal yesterday and forgot to pick some up at the store when I was there last night. So I grabbed a package of the other brand for breakfast this morning. "Original flavor".

I had totally forgotten that "original flavor" instant oatmeal has no flavor. And this brand has the consistancy of congealed wallpaper paste. It's only 2 points but man. *gack*

Maybe if I sprinkle some splenda on it it will help.

Edit If you sprinkle splenda on it, it becomes sweet wallpaper paste. But it is slightly more palletable.

Oh Lord! You just hit the nail on the head as to why I just can't eat the Quaker Oats in the tube-container. I know it's healthier and power foody-like but ... it has NO flavor and is... Yep! Wallpaper paste. I just take the point hit and the lack of powerfoods and make up with it, elsewhere at breakfast because.. I .. Just. CAN'T eat that stuff.

Although I wonder if sprinkling a little Brown sugar or fruit into it would make it edible?
