Yet another cool thing about my job
Oct. 17th, 2012 03:46 pmI was chatting with one of the chemists today and we were talking about white pigment. I mentioned that was a color I have not made paint in because other than chalk, I am unsure where to get pigment for pure white that isn't toxic lead. Half an hour later he comes by my desk and hands me a 2.5kg container of Titanium Dioxide and said that if it or any of the pigment I use reguire grinding to bring them in and we can use the pigment grinding machine to take them down to as small as a micron fine.
How cool is that?

Rock on!
