baronessekatat the store today I bought a new cat toy. It hooked (notice past tense) over the top of a door, had a stick that jutted out and from the stick hung a mousie on a long elastic string.
The mousie, when tapped would "chirp". This went over VERY well with Tzar. Talia tried it but Tzar sat and batted and swatted and pounced and did speedbag drills on said mousie. He had a blast.
It actually lasted about two hours before the plastic stick snapped in twain.
Tomorrw I buy superglue and try to fix the toy. He got really great exercise and it's the first time I've really seen him have that much fun that didn't involve beating up his little sister.
And the role of any good mommy is to keep the kids from fighting too much.
