Glad Game 2013: Days 165-169

Day 165:

*Friday
*Got my nails done. Sparkly red and white. Æthelmearc colors.

Day 166:

*Used groupon to get new plants for front landscaping. Maybe if I get enough hostas I can choke out the damn thistles.
*SEveral SCA outfits cut out.
*nice evening walk with Grimm
*Avengers weekend: Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers all played for my entertainment.

Day 167:

*Pair of pants and cotehardie done.
*Dog barding fail - chalk it up to a learning experience.
*another lovely evening walk
*finally finished all of Hercules: The Legendary Journies.

Day 168:

*reworking barding - Embroidering the escarbuncles this time. While time consuming it's actually easier than trying to machine applique and neater than fabric paint. However, I realize that it's the first time I've done embroidery in a decade and it's for a dog.

Day 169:

*another 1.2 lbs gone.
*lawn mowed
*one escarbuncle on barding done. Second started.

I love reading your glad game posts. They always remind me to stop for a minute and let go of just a little stress.

That's why I started it.

To remind myself that there is always something good in each day. Even if it's just 'it's friday'. I once had a day where the only thing going for it was that I was wearing stripy toe socks.

It helps a lot, especially when I'm fighting the seasonal depressions.
