My Monday started with a blown tire a block from work this morning. Luckily it was right in front of a service station so I pulled in and paid the nice gentleman $8 to change it for me.
Mental note--- really need new spare when can afford it.
Work was stupid annoying stressful.
After work straight to Sears to replace said tire. My buddies from when I was there at the beginning of the month remembered me and had my tire taken care of in 10 minutes!!! Mental note - car work at Sears should be done on Mondays at 5pm.
Since I was at the mall I figured I really should go get a dress for my coworker's wedding this weekend. Sears however does not believe in dresses anymore apparently as I found nothing there. Bon Ton is no more so off to JC Penneys. Start trying on dresses. Now for any who know me... I hate dress shopping. Clothes I don't mind but dresses are another kettle of fish. And the last time I went dress shopping I was a size 18. I figure I've lost weight I'll pick out 16s. But something wasn't right. They didn't fit right either.
I ended up getting a black manderin style cocktail dress... in a FOURTEEN!!!! I really wanted the brown lacy dress that I think I looked damned good in but I would have had to buy shoes (oh damn the torture) and a purse and foundation stuff. Black I already have.
To treat myself for the size 14 dress... and take advantage of the clearance sales and tax free week... Kyri got a pair of boots. Dicea don't say a word. I couldn't pass up $63 boots for $15.
Anyway off to make dinner of grilled salmon and brown rice pilaf.
