Question 13/365: Where do you want to travel next?

I dream of a non-SCA vacation. Disney. Europe. Vegas. Hawaii. California. No real responsibility. Just fun, sun and not home.

Unfortunately my obligations to the SCA have me dedicated to Pennsic for this year (Pennsic 46) and two years from now (Pennsic 48) and I don't see being able to afford to go away instead of going to 47.

We used our SCA camping equipment one year and stayed at Disneyland's campground. It was fabulous, especially since each site gets electricity. We brought our little dorm fridge and some electric appliances (because why not) and spent a whole week there. A week! Swimming pools, great bathing facilities, evening campfire movies, hiking, biking, and Golfing. Oh, and the Magic Kingdom. And golf carts. Can't forget personal golf carts.

We've often talked about getting some of our SCA friends together to do that again as a group.
