In 2015, the Imagine Network sent a "research" vessel out to film a mockumentary on Mermaids in the Mariana Trench. But things went wrong, all hands on board disappeared and what footage was recovered asked more questions than gave answers. Now 7 years later, a new ship is sent out to find out what happened, and what they find is not a Disney fantasy.
I love Mira Grant's writing and her ability to grab my attention and hold on to it delights me to no end. I loved Feed and was happy to discover that her pen name for her urban fantasy books is one that I have been reading for years.
I don't know that I would call this book horror but if it were to be made into a movie, that is certainly what film genre it would be. If you like cryptobiology, horror, and good action, I would highly recommend this book.
