I enjoyed this book very much. It is simply what the title says... the diary of a bookseller. Shaun bought a used bookstore in Scotland and one random day decided to keep a diary of his interactions, sales and such over the course of a year.
I liked the little vignettes of life in a small Scottish town and his description of people that come into the store, as well as those that work for him. I often found myself smiling, if not chuckling at his tales.
All in all a sweet book, though I could see how it might not be to everyone's liking.
