For We Are Many by Dennis E. Taylor

I think I liked the first one better. That's not to say this was a bad book, I just enjoyed the first one more. I liked how we get to see more of the planets that the Bobs have found and some of the inhabitants they discover. Not to mention the dealing with having to relocate all of what's left of humanity. Then add in the realization that Humans are not the biggest or the baddest in the universe... in fact we may just be a speed bump.

I did at times have trouble keeping track of where in the galaxy we were and with which "Bob" we were viewing the ongoing story. I also did not care for an immediate jumping into the story, but that's partly my fault for waiting almost a full year between finishing book 1 and starting book 2.

But I liked the book enough to immediately get the next one. All in all a solid Sci-Fi story.
