* water and walking goals met. In fact, Grimmy walked up and down the hall with me again for a good 2 minutes. I turn it into a kind of "chase"game. He "chases" me down the hall, we turn and I "chase" him back. It's good for both of us to move and it makes me smile to know that despite his age (He's 11), he still plays.

* scale victory. -3.75 lbs. since the beginning of the year. The water uptake, the added 30 minute walks most days and just being more aware of what and why I'm eating is helping. While I'm in a Biggest Loser competition, it's more as an additional motivation for me rather than a "I must win". Oh sure, the cash would be nice, but having the weekly accountability is what I need right now.

* really glad I took the time Sunday to make up meals. It's nice to come home and just have to pull out a container and not have to think about cooking or where I'm going to get the energy from to make something other than ramen or popcorn.
