baronessekatI'm sick. Running sinuses, scratchy throat, low grade/inconvienent fever, aches, crankies, the works.
I have basically spent much of the weekend in bed. I hate it when I feel that way.
Saturday I got up and got my nails done. My technician teased me because the Boo wasn't there to help me. (Story for another day.) I got home and sat and stared at the walls for a bit until the Boo came over after work and took me out to get some groceries and dinner with her and Boogie. That was nice but draining. Got home at 7:30 and went straight to bed.
Sunday I did manage to drag myself out of bed and met Boo for our mall walk/crawl. Only one lap and I was ready to call it quits. She took me for lunch (I suspect she knew that if she didn't I wasn't going to actually eat anything yesterday) then I came home and went to bed.
The problem with being in bed all day is basically I get rested enough that I'm not tired but I feel too icky to actually do anything other than stare at the tv and read.
I finished one book. Hated it. Sometime I will start listening to the voices in my head and not try to tell myself "The author will get better. She's going through some wierd psychotic phase right now but she'll get better and then her books will be good again. At least this series will get better. the other one's not too bad".
Watched many hours of food network and history channel. Even remembered to switch it over to HBO to watch the new episode of Big Love. I'm still trying to work up an opinion on that show.
OH well. I feel like crud. But I need to go make myself a sandwich for lunch and head out to work. Maybe I can breathe on the boss and get her sick with this. Nah, with my luck she won't catch it or if she does she'll still come to work and be an even more miserable cranky, nasty witch.
