Becoming by Michelle Obama

For eight years, I thought this woman embodied everything that was grace and dignity. She was someone for whom I held high respect.

after listening to her tell her story, if anything those feeling have only intensified.

I liked very much getting a look at how she became who she is. She is an independent, free-thinking woman, who knows what she wants and works to get it.

I also liked, that while her husband does play a part in her story, this book is NOT about her life after him or because of him. He is simply just a part of her life.

I only wish I had done this book towards the end of last year after having read and listened to many political books about her husband's successor to the Oval Office. It was a nice refreshing change.
