First the Thunder by Randall Silvis

I tried. But but by the end of chapter 13 I realized, I just didn't care. I couldn't tell you the names of the characters once I closed the book and only really recalled a vague sense of what had happened in those 13 chapters.

There were a couple spots where I liked the dialog or descriptions, but that was not enough to keep me going.

I'm sure he's a good writer, but I'm glad I received this book as a giveaway and did not pay for it.
