For a novelized story of a woman we do not have much information about, I enjoyed this book very much.

Mitza Maric came to Zurich to study mathematics and physics, in a time when women attending higher education was so rare that it bordered on the concept of preposterous. At university, she found the challenges wonderful and stimulating. It was in those classes that she met an odd, unconventional young man named Albert Einstein.

A whirlwind romance happened and she found herself in love with this strange man, who stimulated her mind and body. They form a partnership of mind and love, working together on theories and papers. However... Albert omits her name from the papers during the submission process using excuse after excuse as to why he had to. Eventually this causes her to grow resentful as he is acclaimed for ideas she had and work she did. (It has recently become speculation that she had much more input on his theories and works than was ever attributed to her).

I was moved by her story, and if even 1/3 of it is actually true, my heart goes out to this remarkable woman. And if none of it is true, it was still a good and entertaining story.
