I made a decision

I'd been toying with it for a while but today I fully did.
Even if they still have Pennsic this year (and I'm doubting it but no official announcement has happened yet), I will not be attending.
close camping with even just my household is scary in today's environment. And as someone with asthma and a heart condition, I could not imagine going out "rustic" camping for two weeks even wearing a mask 24/7. I do wish they would cancel it and have voiced my opinion to the mayor of the event so that I could say "well, not in my control" but I'm going to be the grown up.
It's going to be weird as Pennsic is a mental reset for me. I will still take those two weeks off of work though and maybe actually strip the wall paper out of the front hall and paint it, reorganize/declutter the garage and other around the house things that are on the "I'll get to that eventually" list.
*sigh* *grump*
