I recently realized that I've not updated my Glad Game or any other "state of the me" here since April. So rather than glad parts of the last 2.5 months I'll do the Cliff's Notes version

April 27- I started my furlough from IIMAK. This caused me to redefine my definitions of schedule and habits.

Starting May 1st I started doing 30 day exercise challenges. From May 1st to June 30th I have lost 1.25 lbs and 5.5 inches overall. I also managed to do something I have not done in 40+ years... bend over and touch my toes. That was quite exciting.

Sadly because of the virus all SCA events have been cancelled. This includes Pennsic. I will miss seeing my friends but it is for the best. Hopefully not going will not really mess up my brain the way it did back when I didn't go because the Household took the year off and went t0 Disney instead

I've completed 35 messy art pieces. Many people have taken them for their own homes.

I've finished 13 books (and am on track to finish another one tomorrow).

I've been keeping up with my photo a day challenges over on FB.

When the State allowed salons to reopen I went and got my hair CHOPPED. I went from hair down to just below my bra strap to a long pixie cut with a VERY short undercut. I love it. Still working on how to style it but that's a minor thing.

Chosen family has been doing "virtual family dinner" every two weeks. That has helped with not feeling totally isolated.

One June 16th I got a call from IIMAK - business has not turned around like the hoped and my position was being eliminated. My boss, Rick, fought hard for me to be kept but it just didn't work out that way. While disappointed, I am not surprised based on what I had been hearing from coworkers that I had been in contact with. I get my PTO paid out and will begetting 9.5 weeks of severance. I will miss working there. I really liked it and the people. There is a slim chance that in October they may want me back, but hopefully by then I will have a new and better position. I need to pull my resume together and start pounding the job listings - which is a scary concept given the nature of the world right now and the type of work I'm going to be looking for.

Being home all day and watching the Lawn Worshiping Retiree neighbors got me to feel a bit of embarrassment over my landscaping so I spent a week pulling weeds, cleaning up the landscaping, moving and spreading mulch and replacing the solar lighting. Now I don't look like I don't give a crap. (very glad I used my stimulus money to pay for the full year of lawn care).

I started and finished a Quarantine Crochet-along blanket and have started another crochet blanket.

I made myself 2 new mundane dresses and have plans for at least 2 more and a t-shirt.

Many masks have been made and I have a bunch cut out for more.

I completed two SCA gift exchanges.

My sister came up for my birthday and with her help we got my front hall tackled. We stripped off the 30+ year old wallpaper, sanded and painted the walls a pretty aqua color. Repaired and painted the trim a off white, built a shelving unit for storage in the hall and I "flea market flipped" a wicker shelf I picked up at a garage sale and repainted a storage box that I had so that Ozy would have a better hall box and I could throw out the beat up cardboard box he had been hanging out in.

So that's the main points of the last couple months. I have a bunch of things on my to-do list for the future and I will keep moving on, as the alternative is not an option.
