baronessekatI got offered a new job today. And I actually turned it down.
They did not discuss compensation until offering me the position and it turned out to be almost $8,000 less than what I'm making now.
That is just too much of a cut in pay for the sake of feeling useful and part of a team. I just couldn't take it.
But that just gives me incentive to keep applying places. The right fit it out there, and until now I can endure where I am.
