My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Hollywood comes calling to Eve Dallas. The book written about one of her past cases, The Icove case, has been adapted for the big screen and they are filming in New York. The soon it's done and the production is out of her city, all the better for Eve.
But she attends a party celebrating the production, enduring the egos and attitudes over dinner and drinks. But then, one of the stars, the one playing Peabody in the movie, is found dead. Now Eve and Peabody have to determine who, amongst the party attendees (all people who make a living making people believe falsehoods) wanted her dead. And the list is long, considering no one liked the victim to begin with.

I enjoyed this installment. But I enjoy pretty much all of them. I find this series to be brain fluff - something to read when I need a break from heavy topics of if I've been spending too much time on a single genre.
