Quests continue

AFter the quest to find the high holy potato masher, I was motivated to actually start another quest.
And I succeeded. The quest to find the kitchen has been accomplished. Non kitchen stuff is no longer in the kitchen. I can see the top of the table, dishwasher, counters and... holy shit.. my stove top is actually white. Who knew.
I still have to take care of the utility room and pantry. While theoretically part of the kitchen as they are off of it, they are, in my mind, rooms unto themselves.
However, the next room to be tackled is the living room. Mostly because the non-kitchen stuff made it's way there in the progression to find their way to the spots they are supposed to live.
I am not totally tackling the living room today. IT's late and too chilly out to open the windows so that the dust and cat hair demons can't attack my lungs. But I am going to start taking stuff upstairs for their next step in their way to their homes.
But this is a big step. And I can only freek the cats out so much. They are actingnervous. Of course usually when I get on a cleaning kick it means strangers are coming over and bringing the yippy little thing (aka Ping the Pug). Well Alex doesn't seem to care but she's been around long enough to know that it's either visitors (in which case she just hides in a closet until they leave) or it's spring cleaning (in which case she just hides in a closet until it's over).
And apparently someone who lives in my head believes I drink lots of coffee as I found three packages of 100 coffee filters. Considering I haven't made coffee since 12th night in January, I think I can safely say that I'm not going to need more filters anytime soon.
Though I did find at the store today, chocolate syrup made with splenda so I can try the fancy coffee recipe that was on the WW lj. That looked yummy.
But that's another project.
