Mom called me at work today and asked what time tomorrow is the wedding I'm going to. I said two. She then said are you doing anything tonight? Um.. no.

"I saw an add for stuff at Penney's, want to meet me there after work?" Now I would be a very stupid boo to say no to a Mom funded shopping trip.

So after work we met up. She said that when she saw me earlier this week she felt embarassed by the fact that I looked like a walking pile of rags (paraphrasing) because my clothes were hanging off me, especially my pants. Sorry, broke ekat means no new clothes ekat.

And since Penney's is doing a sale she figured she'd help me out. 7 pairs of bras that fit right again, two blouses and... six pairs of jeans... size 14 baby! Stretch 14's too that fit almost perfectly.

Who's the boo? I think that tonight it's me.

We went out for dinner at Friendly's after and I got a HUGE salad. IT ws good and filling and I couldn't eat it all. I"m only able to guess on points but I'm saying I met all today since I spent a bunch for lunch as we ordered out for two of the girls at work's birthdays. I was good there too. 6" Subway turkey sub with lettuce, tomato and one slice of cheese. rather than mayo I put my own fat free ranch salad dressing and kept the points to 8 (had a Pringles snack pack with it).

I really want to thank everyone who have replied to my rant here and at [livejournal.com profile] _weightwatchers for the support against the bitches at work who tried to sabotage my morale with how I've been doing with my lifestyle adjustment.

I really really want to make this work.

I want to make 15 lb loss by Wednesday. and my 10% by the week after. That would be an average of 3+ pounds a week but that's what I've more or less been doing so far. I know I'm going to hit a plateau eventually/soonish. But I'll overcome that when I get to it.

Maybe next weekend I'll find my living room again and break out the workout tapes I own and actually try them (not just sit and watch them like I did last time).

Tomorrow is my co-worker's wedding. I'm not to sure about the actual ceremony. Full Catholic Mass. At least it's not in the middle of summer.

but the reception should be nice. It's at the Rich Foods Atrium. Which is GORGEOUS!!! Open bar, serf and turf for dinner and dessert stations all around. That will be my true challenge. I can do it, I can do it. (hears the little chorus of mice from Cinderella singing "we can do it").

Now also to start saving money up. Cuz you know... all this weight loss means I'm going to soooooooo need new garb for Pennsic this year.

Well not quite. There's still grass on the ground. Not that I'm complaining mind you. I hate snow. Evil vile disgusting stuff. When I am queen of the universe I will decree that snow may only fall on Christmas Eve but must melt the day after Christmas never to return for another year. But well, until then, I know I live in upstate New York and a chance of a snow free winter is impossible.

Anyway. This is my note to my out of town friends. Mostly the out of state ones and out of country ones. I just looked at my bank account. And well... your gifts ain't getting mailed out this week and most likely not next. I get paid next Thursday so maybe after paying the car insurance, the heat, the electricity, the cable and putting gas in the car, I MIGHT have enough to mail your gifts.

I appologize for that. Woogieman, this means your birthday gift, which is already MONTHS late, is going to be a bit later. Your Christmas present will get ordered once I have some money, but that means it probably won't be there by the holiday. I'm sorry. To my friend in England... I'm sorry but it won't be there for your birthday. And the way customs goes... maybe not for Christmas.

I still have shopping to do for my mother. The woman who goes "oh I don't need or want anything." Then manages to come up with some suggestions that my sister and I find impossible to fill. Like an inexpensive VCR. HELLO.... today's day and age it's DVD players. Those we can find for $20. The cheapest VCR we can find is $50. And that's just a VCR. Not one of those cool VCR/DVD player ones. And we couldn't get that. That's too noo and techno for mom. Then she suggests replacement cups for her antique hot chocolate set. Mom... I love you but have you noticed that your youngest daughter is unemployed and your eldest was unemployed for 3 months this year and is just now starting to get out of the debt she went into for that time? My mother is a good woman, though frustrating. She finally tells me and Sis something that we can afford to get her. And what does she do? She goes and buys it 3 weeks before christmas for herself! BLAH!.

Anyway, I should return to work and earn the paycheck that will send the gifts out and get the gifts for mom.

Love you all.

Happy holidays.
