got another call

The staffing agency called to see if I wanted them to forward my info to a law firm that is looking for a new receptionist. It's a little less $$ than what I was hoping for but it's more than most receptionists get.

She explained that it would be a replacement situation as the woman they currently have has only been there a month and has had massive attendance issues so the interview would be on the QT.

The law firm is a fairly well publicized one here in the buffalo area. Lots of commercials on TV and just about everyone in buffalo can finish the phrase "Hurt in a car..."

I said to go ahead and forward my info. There's also a job fair on Thursday given by the Catholic Health Systems that I might go to. I have a feeling they are looking more for health care professionals than support staff but as Dicea said, it can't hurt to go.

I did get a recruitment email based on my monster.com stuff. But I am not taking it. It's for sales. I hated sales when I did it for 3 months just after college. I'll do retail again before I do sales.

Well, here's hoping good news comes soon.

I went to monster.com did all the stuff.

Just had a phone interview with a law firm looking for an administrative assistant. Hopefully I will hear back soon for a face to face.
