When I went to college, I went to an activities fair and hooked up with a D&D group. I figured that was where I would spend most of my time. I also picked up a flyer for the "Purdue Medieval Club". Turned out that the D&D players were all the stuff of a bad 80's movie, including a guy who collected pocket lint. They scared me. Thus I went to a meeting of the Medieval Club, met a man named Moonwulf and some cool friends of his, and my SCA life was born.
