Glad Game 2021 - June
Jul. 1st, 2021 06:48 pmJune both dragged and flew by. I don't know how but it did.
But here's the review:
Work:
still employed. Took on a bit of more stuff to do, but still bored out of my mind. But it's a paycheck.
Got three things crossed off the white board things to do list.
Middle of the month I participated in the community garage sale. Made more than I expected (especially considering I priced everything as "make me an offer" Everything that did not sell has gone to charity or to the curb. I'm amazed at the space now in the basement and some in the garage. Totally worth the work to set up and tear down by myself,
Planner habit tracking:
Drink at least 64 oz of water a day: 13 days
Exercise daily: 9 days (working on improving that)
Read at least 20 minutes a day: 17 days
Art: Only made one piece of art. Just wasn't feeling it this month
Books: finished 6 books this month
Health:
Lost 4.7 pounds for the month (5.2 for the year)
Lost 1.13 inches over all for the month (7.38 for the year)
Misc.:
The baby chickadees grew and flew
Kittens under my deck. Have managed to catch two - one has already been promised to a friend. The other needs to get fixed and either fostered or released. His attitude is such that I cannot keep him. I have reached out to a couple rescue groups asking for help.
I reached level 48 Human at the end of the month. Got to spend part of my birthday with J&P. they came over and he helped me replace the faucet in my kitchen. We went out for lunch at Panera's - the first time I've been to a sit down restaurant in over a year and a half. J then went with me to help pick out a new TV for the family room as the old one conveniently died that day.
Finally, I managed to book my flights for Thanksgiving. I was watching flights for my boss to get tickets for one of his business trips and figured I might as well check for me as well and found flights cheap. It will be a test of my anxiety to fly post-vaccine but I miss traveling so we shall see how I do.
